Here’s the first playable version of “Gäelith. The Voice of the Stones.”
The goal of the game is to match the three special stones (those with a yellow dot) in a single line to obtain the key that opens the portal and thus advance to the next level. You can also move the stones with a gray dot, but not the darker ones. These will always remain in the same place.
With each level, the number of stones will increase, and with it the difficulty.
You can control Gäelith the druid with the keyboard (arrows or “W-A-S-D” keys to move Gäelith and “Space” to move the stones) or with the buttons at the bottom of the screen. If at any point you get stuck and don’t know how to continue, you can restart the current level with the “R” key or the reset button.
Go ahead, take control of Gäelith and try to advance as many levels as possible!
Enjoyed playing the game? I hope so!
Now, take a peek behind the curtain: you can dive deeper into the code by visiting my GitHub repository (https://github.com/FereBlanco/gaelith). Explore the source files, see how I built the game, and get a closer look at my coding process. It’s a great way to understand the mechanics behind “Gäelith. The Voice of the Stones” and evaluate my Unity development skills. Feel free to check it out and share your thoughts—I’d love to hear what you think!
